Static Caravan Insurance
The Caravanwise static caravan insurance policy is underwritten by NIG, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, and provides you with all of the insurance cover that you really need at a price that you can afford. We aim to keep our prices low by being very selective in which holiday caravan sites we offer cover for. This means that if you are in a sheltered area away from the risk of flood you get a really good deal.
With the NIG policy you have the peace of mind of knowing that your insurance coverage is backed by a major UK insurer. The policy includes £2 million third party public liability cover which is seen by the majority of site owners as an essential minimum.

Comprehensive Insurance
Our static caravan insurance policy was specifically designed to provide the essential insurance for your UK based fixed site caravan. It provides comprehensive cover for loss or damage to your caravan, specified equipment and optionally caravan contents.
New For Old
If you insure your caravan on a new for old basis then until it is up to twenty years old it would be replaced as new if it is ever damaged beyond economic repair. In this event otherwise known as a total loss the cost of clearing the site and reinstating a replacement caravan is covered provided sufficient sums have been included when completing your proposal and this is reviewed and kept at a sufficient level when you renew. Not all caravans can be insured new for old but if you have a new caravan or your caravan is currently insured on a new for old basis we will be happy to quote.
Market Value
Otherwise we offer market value cover which sets the value of the caravan at its true market value at the time of the claim. Remember that the value of the site is not included and you do not have to include this in your sums insured.
