German Made Caravans
Certain models of German caravan are particularly atractive to the gangs that steal caravans. Those most at risk appear to be larger opulent, twin axle models and these models are very difficult to arrange insurance for. The smaller single axle models seem to be less at risk.
Caravanwise are now able to arrange cover for single axle caravans with less than four berths but only from the following European manufacturers: Hymer, Burstner, Eriba, Cristall, Esterel, Adria, Dethleffs, Geist, Knaus, Trigano.

Note: We cannot arrange cover for any twin axled caravan that is not a UK manufactured model and cannot arrange cover for Hobby, LMC (Lord Munsterland), Tabbert or Roma caravans or for any non-UK caravan with over 4 berths.
If you do manage to find insurance for one of these models expect premiums to be very high and for security requirements to be particularly tight.
