Camper Van Insurance and Motorhome Insurance
We are now able to arrange motorhome insurance cover for most European purpose built motorhomes and camper vans and DIY (self build) camper vans where the base vehicle is of UK or European manufacture. Purpose Built and Professional conversions
We can arrange cover for UK and European vans of the following types.
- Coachbuilt motorhomes
- Many A class motorhomes
- Professional van conversions, high tops, pop tops camper vans
- Micro camper vans
The vehicle can be right or left hand drive.
We are not able to arrange cover for:
Any American motorhomes and campervans, Japanese imports and dismountables. Any vehicle over £40,000 in value or where the engine size over 5000cc. Also we cannot arrange cover for A Class motorhomes with very large windscreens such as NB Arto.
Also all of the maximum of 4 named drivers must be 25 or over, must have been UK residents for at least the last 3 years and have held a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years.
DIY camper vans and motorhomes
A fully converted motorhome or campervan must have all of the following permanently built in:
- A built in bed
- A wardrobe
- Cooking facilities
- A seating/dining area
- Housing for water storage
We cannot arrange cover for a DIY conversion until the camper van is fully completed.
